MacVim startify/nerdtree not autoloading

Hi,

I was using a rather old SpaceVim and updated it this morning. After the update, terminal Vim still works as expected.

However, MacVim no longer autoloads startify nor nertree--it opens to an empty buffer.

I've been searching for some piece of configuration that may have been lost or changed during the upgrade process but I don't see anything that might be causing that problem.

Is there something else that I might check or do to remedy this?
