Return key not creating new line in insert mode on Mac

Hello,

I recently installed SpaceVim on my new work laptop and right away the mac return key doesn't work to create a new line. I thought this might be something due to settings on the work laptop, so I uninstalled and reinstalled SpaceVim on my personal laptop (also a Mac) and now the return key no longer works in insert mode (I had previously installed SpaceVim ~6 months ago and it worked fine).

When in nvim, [SPC] h d k return shows "is undefined." Is this expected? If not, can you please help me try to solve this? Thanks you!

This is occurring when using versions 0.9.5 and 0.10.0

Forgot to add, but :imap <CR> returns pumvisible ? () "\<C-Y" : "\CR"
