I recently updated spacevim, following the command line instructions here:https://spacevim.org/documentation/#update-and-rollback

For users who prefer to use the command line, they can use the following command in a terminal to update SpaceVim manually:

git -C ~/.SpaceVim pull

And spacevim stopped loading when I launched nvim. I eventually realized that the repo was replaced with a readme stating that the repo moved to gitlab. I'd recommend mentioning that in the upgrade instructions in case others do the same.

NVM, I removed my ~/.SpaceVim directory and cloned as per "git clone https://gitlab.com/SpaceVim/SpaceVim.git ~/.SpaceVim" and now everything works again.
