By default, FFmpeg uses a frame rate which is the same as the video source. Frame rate is also known as frame per second (fps). It is the measurement of how quickly a number of frames appear within a second. As FFmpeg extracts images from a video following its frame rate, the frame rate will decide how many images will be extracted for every second of the video.

From the screenshot above, the frame rate of the video is 30 fps. This means that 30 images will be extracted for every second of the video when running the basic command ffmpeg -i input.mp4 %04d.png. As a result, a total of 274 images will be generated from the input video.

You can change the frame rate by adding the argument -vf fps or -filter:v fps with the number of frames to the basic command. It is a filter that will convert the video to the specified constant frame rate by duplicating or dropping frames as necessary.

If the original frame rate of the video is higher than the specified frame rate, the frames in the video will be dropped to match the frame rate specified. On the contrary, the frames of the video will be duplicated if the original frame rate is lower.

For example, adding -vf fps=1 to the basic command will re-encode the video to 1 fps. The frames of the video will be dropped as the original frame rate is 30 fps. The total number of images extracted from the video will become 9 (1 image x 9.13 seconds).

An additional optional time-based noise filter improves the image quality and reduces the data rate by up to 20%. This filter can be activated in the browser's user interface under Setup Menu > Image Control > General Image Settings with the Temporal Noise Filter option. The reduction is up to 20% on a 24-hour average and up to 50% on dark, noisy images. If stored on a NAS or file server, this leads to a noticeable relief of the storage device. Please note that the filter may reduce the frame rate depending on the picture settings and scene complexity. This is especially true if the camera is already delivering a reduced frame rate due to a high load situation or complex scene content, as would be possible under optimal conditions.

Many improvements in details of this software release have resulted in a perceptible increase in system performance. The increase in computing speed and the further stabilized, higher frame rates that can be attained in this release even under high loads (large image sizes, many camera features activated) are proof of the increased performance.

This firmware version now better supports the dual-core processor architecture of the Mx6 camera model. As a result, more functions can be performed by the camera at the same time, without negatively affecting the frame rate.

You can now set H.264 streaming to maintain image quality and to reduce the frame rate instead, if required. This happens only if the defined bit rate (bandwidth) is exceeded. Open the Admin Menu > Camera Administration > Integration Protocols dialog, go to the H.264 Settings section and activate the new Constant Quality Mode option.

This software release also supports the new Mx6 indoor camera models i26, c26, p26 and v26. As a consequence, the new features of the Mx6 camera line are also supported on these models (noticeably higher frame rates, H.264 video streaming, ONVIF etc. In addition, the design and the handling of the i26, c26, p26 and v26 cameras does not differ from their predecessor models of the P3 camera line.

As mentioned above, the Mx6 models display noticeably higher frame rates with less variation as in the P3 camera models. This is mainly due to the higher computational power of the dual-core processor. The frame rate can reach 42 fps when using HD image size (1280x720), the MxPEG video codec and Normal image quality:

When I launch the app with yarn start, after any code change, the server makes the replacement without refreshing page and discarding page state, but it injects an iframe in my HTML, with the max z-index, so I am unable to make any interaction, like a click.

Found the root cause: This iframe is used by the hot loader to inject code in the DOM. It is appended and removed immediately after the injection. If an error occurs while this is happening, the hot loader breaks, not removing the iframe.

This is a shared library of modified textures that contains common files for the custom 4K PBR A320 v5.0.1.100+ paint kit created by Hugo Bicho, Daniel Du Preez and John Tavendale. A new Airplanes\FSLabs A32X\Texture.CommonProfHBJT folder has been created and common files shared with all repaints are included here. This saves on drive space and simplifies management of liveries created from the custom kit. Repaints made from this kit have a special texture.cfg file that references this folder as a fallback and will be shown on the model when loaded into P3D.

Keith's Image Stacker is an image processing program that is oriented primarily toward astrophotography. See my astrophotography webpage for information about my personal venture into that hobby. What Keith's Image Stacker provides, more than anything else, is a workspace in which to align many similar images (say from a quicktime movie of Jupiter taken through a telescope with a webcam) and then to produce a stack of the images, which consists of a single image that comprises either the sum, or the average, or some value in between of the individually stacked images. Stacking images is a well-established method for increasing the signal-to-noise ratio in a series of similar images. True "information" will shine through the stack, while random noise will drop out.

Best Practice: Metafier validation includes checks for any L1 0,0,0 values for shots that are longer than 1 second in duration. Confirm if the shots with values of 0,0,0 contain image data (are not black frames) and that the resulting analysis was not intended. Re-analyze, and fix.

Best Practice: During the Dolby Vision analysis to generate the metadata, ensure that your is set to the full resolution of the frame (represented as a non-negative, decimal number).

Ensure that your is set to the A/R of the active image within the frame, minus any mattes (represented as a non-negative, decimal number). If the aspect ratio is a continuous decimal number, a maximum of 5 decimal places of precision is required to account for one-line discrepancies. If the aspect ratio is a whole number integer or a finite decimal number, it can be represented with the amount of decimal places to match its value from a single decimal place up to 5 decimal places of precision.

CUDA Deep Neural Network library provides high-performance primitives for deep learning frameworks. It provides highly tuned implementations for standard routines such as forward and backward convolution, pooling, normalization, and activation layers.

Camera application API: libargus offers a low-level frame-synchronous API for camera applications, with per frame camera parameter control, multiple (including synchronized) camera support, and EGL stream outputs. RAW output CSI cameras needing ISP can be used with either libargus or GStreamer plugin. In either case, the V4L2 media-controller sensor driver API is used.

On some older devices, support for HEVC is affected by the resolution and frame rate (fps) of the video. Resolutions of 1080p or lower and frame rates of 60 fps or lower are more broadly compatible with older devices. To reduce the resolution and frame rate that your capture device uses for recording video, go to Settings > Camera > Record Video, as well as Settings > Camera > Record Slo-mo.

If you're using iCloud Photos with iOS 10 or macOS Sierra, you might see a warning icon in the upper-right corner of the photo or video, or you might see an alert message. To fully view, edit, or duplicate HEIF and HEVC media on your device, upgrade to iOS 11 or later or macOS High Sierra or later.

If sharing this media via iCloud Photos, the media is preserved in its original format, resolution, and frame rate. If your device can't fully view, edit, or duplicate HEIF or HEVC media in iCloud Photos, or displays it at a lower resolution, upgrade to iOS 11 or later or macOS High Sierra or later.

The new behavior in ASP.NET Core 5.0.1 or later more closely matches the routing behavior defined in ASP.NET Core apps, where the framework computes and establishes the route precedence for each segment first and only uses the length of the route to break ties as a secondary criteria.
