Happy
Easter, everybody. This Saturday come and celebrate the rawest, best live band you
never heard of. Some earth and soul smuggled in to the Hackney atomised
desert. Its a great hidden venue with a huge terrace to enjoy a smoke or the springtime air.

--------------------------------
The alps are melting and the 3 swiss brothers are back again for only a few UK
shows on their European tour. They come with a limited tour single GET
AWAY BLUES in hand, and the third album, “Tell It to the People” due
for release early summer 2011 on Voodoo Rhythm. This is their last Euro
tour show, with PETE BASSMAN (Spacemen 3/The Darkside/The Urgz) and
fellow Rugbians THE ANTELOIDS supporting.
ROY & THE DEVIL'S MOTORCYCLE -
The third album is on
the
way this summer and sounds like a timeless unidentifiable treasure of
lost blues records, ancient/futuristic folk and a primal joy of
earth-rooted space-bound music. Three brothers from the swiss mountains
who've never taken a straight path in their life will fill you with
outsider joy and throw you down a maelstrom of psychic power. Roys can
write solid, unusual, beautiful SONGS, too. On my future grave, i
promise you you haven't seen anything like them before. Don't be
scared, come on in.

PETE "BASSMAN" BAINES -
A
founding member of Spacemen 3, Pete has never stopped making music. The
Darkside in the 90s explored a more garagey 60s psyche (on beggars
banquet); Alphastone stuck to the far out drones and bliss, and recent
project THE URGZ boiled classic psych-punk to its essence (PRIMITIV
BLUES is the mantra). This solo show is a rare chance to see the man
himself in London.

THE ANTELOIDS -
A
band FAR developed beyond their tender years - The Anteloids play
focused, hypnotic psych rock with a lot of kraut and Spacemen 3
influence (Pete Bassman has been a fan for a while now). Like Roys,
they benefit from the brethren connection (Ben and Tom that is) and
play with a power that is scarce these days. If you like Wooden
Shijps/Moon Duo, 60s garage and kraut - check this the f*ck out.
