Good morning!

Can anyone help me with this error code?

Starting Analysis...
iter    sigma   lam0   beta    psi N
Error in if (runif(1) < exp(sum(rowsum(llvector.new - llvector, indid)[z ==  :
  missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed

I have checked my trap deployment file and my grid file, and I cannot find any missing 1/0 in any of my cells.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Carrie Hall

Carrie,
Can you check the discussion forum for this topic.
I guess the error is discussed under the following heading:
"Missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed" error

I am giving the quoted answer below
"
This error usually occurs when "Animal Capture Details File" has
unexpected data. Ensuring the ANIMAL_ID numbers are sequential
(without an animal ID number being 'skipped’) in the Animal Capture
Details File resolves the error. "

Thanks, Ravi and Arjun.  I am still not having any luck.  The odd thing is, I ran a model that worked perfectly two weeks ago, but as I am trying again with a new dataset, I keep getting this error.  I have checked the consecutive animal ID numbers, and everything is correct.  (I can't see how this would be the case, but this isn't a problem with a Windows 10 upgrade, is it?  When the model was working properly, I was running Windows 8, but one of my students upgraded the computer to Windows 10 and now it isn't working.)  I even tried uninstalling R and reloading SPACECAP, but no luck.

Cheers,
Carrie

Hi Carrie: do send your input files to my email address directly and also to Ravi's email ID. Either one of us can check.

Arjun

Carrie, It would be good if you can send the input files as Arjun suggested.

Hello all,

I am getting the exact same error code as the one posted here by Carrie Hall. Is went back and sorted the Animal_Ids sequentially but still get the same error. By any chance was this error overcome and if so how?

Thanks

All consecutive numbered individuals until the maximum numbered individual should be present.

Hi Ravi

Id really appreciate if you could have a look at my data file. It is attached below. As you can see, all 24 cats are present and listed sequentially. Perhaps there is something else that I have missed? It is the first time I am using SPACECAP to run SECR analysis.

Thanks very much.

Tarik

Dear Tarik,
The problem was with your trap file. It seems the columns corresponding to X_Coord and Y_Coord are interchanged.

Thanks very much Ravi. I really appreciate that.
