SPACECAP (version 1.1.0) is now on CRAN: http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/SPACECAP/index.html
It may still take a couple of days for the Windows and Mac binaries to appear on the site, but they eventually would. The source file and help manual, however, is available so the package can be installed on your local systems.

This is a new, faster and improved version of SPACECAP. It addresses many of the issues posted in the group.
