Dear all,
One of the individuals I detected on camera at the beginning of a survey was later found dead within the study area. What is the best way to address this issue but still use SPACECAP? My thinking is if it is included it will appear as if it permanently emigrated.
Thanks in advance.

SPACECAP assumes that all animals are available for detection from start to finish. So SPACECAP itself cannot deal with this problem. I guess you can leave the individual and run and analysis and also include the individual and run another analysis and report both of them.
