Dear all,

In the trap deployment details it is possible to add the dates when
specific traps were active and not. It is not completely clear to me
how this information is used in the analyses? Is it used as covariate
on detection?
Thank a lot in advance

Sincerely
Fridolin

Apologies for the overtly delayed reply. In fact I just noticed this question now.
The observation process y_ij follows a Binomial(K, p_ij) where K is the number of occasions j th trap was active.
From whatever I have understood, for each of the locations it would take the corresponding value of K. Please do
correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Dear All:

In the program, we have another indicator variable that decides whether a trap is active or not. The value of K is the total number of sampling occasions in the study used (including active and non-active days).

Anyway, I think this question must have been sorted a long time ago.

Sorry, for my delayed response as well.

Arjun
