Dear Colleagues

I encourage you to submit your "Technical" papers and join Space-Based Power Transfer session (Session 2.10 Space-Based Solar Power Transfer) at the IEEE Aerospace Conf. in the exciting venue of Big Sky, MT (close to Yellowstone) on March 2014.
In this session the latest "technology and research" on SSP will be presented. The peer reviewed papers accepted in this session will be published on IEEE Xplore. Please visithttp://www.aeroconf.org/ for more information.

While we still accept abstracts but the deadline for submission of thefull papers is: Oct 25; please note that authors must submit their abstract prior to the submission of the full paper. It is safe to submit your abstract before Oct 01.

The topics of interest for the Space-Based Power Transfer Session includes (but not limited to):

1.  Novel Space-Based Solar Power Transfer Technologies;
2.  Comparison of the proposed techniques;
3.  Microwave Technologies for Space-Based Solar Power Transfer;
4.  Antenna Systems designed for space-based power transfer and power collection;
5.  Orbit and altitude design for space-based power satellites;
6.  Space-based wireless channel: impact of high powers; frequency and bandwidth;
7.  Power distribution and Relaying in space and from space to ground;
8.  Space-based smart grids;
9.  Cyber-control of satellites in space;
10. Orbit Control for space-based power transfer;
11. Selection of Frequency and Bandwidth;
12. Transmission Schemes: modulation; multiple access;
13. Selection of collecting points on the ground;
14. Beamforming strategies;
15. Terahertz for space-based power,

Sincerely,
Reza
