We recently celebrated this year's 2025 YWCA Greater Los Angeles Values Awards Recipients at Tamayo's Restaurant and Art Gallery. These team members truly live out our mission each day, embodying our four core values of Courage, Compassion, Collaboration, and Commitment. Each honoree reflects the best of who we are as an organization, leading with heart, integrity, and purpose in their work. From supporting families to strengthening our internal systems, their dedication reminds us that our greatest strength lives in our people.

Growing skills, growing strength | |
We’re proud to share encouraging progress from the Economic Empowerment Program at our North Valley Empowerment Center, where 11 participants are now officially enrolled. Among them, one dedicated parent recently earned their GED and is already pursuing new career opportunities, while another has enrolled in a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program through our partnership with the North Valley Occupational Center. Both are also receiving counseling support through our Family Engagement Center: a clear reflection of YWCA Greater Los Angeles’ values at work in the everyday.
