Greetings.

I have placed my sozi presentation into dropbox so that I do not have to copy the large raw svg file into my website page. Then I obtained a sharing link from dropbox, and pasted the link into my webpage.  However, I cannot make it display.  Here is my link with 3 variations, none of which worked.  Can someone point out my error please?

If you want to embed the presentation in a web page, you need to create a frame where the external document will be displayed:

<iframe src="https://dl.dropbox.com/s/0x6jlreqowjzot5/jeroboamtoahab.sozi.html" width="800" height="600">
</iframe>

Thank you, it worked.  However my audio file has not come with it.  Im not sure if it is a problem with Dropbox or a problem with my webpage.  It worked fine after adding it to the Inkscape file.
</iframe>

In your document, the audio element is linked to "divisionkingdom.ogg".
It will work only if the audio file and the SVG are located in the same folder.
It is probably true if you play the presentation from your computer.

In DropBox, it would work if https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/0x6jlreqowjzot5/divisionkingdom.ogg returned the audio file... but it is not the case.
If you know the complete URL of the audio file in DropBox, you can try to use it when creating the audio element.

Hello, first time posting here.

I have the same issue Ged had. However, I can't seem to be able to embed my presentations, into Blogger, or even into a simple html file (html, head and body tags) with the iframe inside.
It's driving me mad since I'm doing exactly as told and nothing shows inside the frame...

My presentation is here at dropbox, here at Google Drive, and here at OwnDrive. As you see, I've been trying a lot of options for uploading it, assuming that might be the issue...

If you know another easy hosting server where the html can be uploaded without them "meddling" in between, by all means let me know...

Thank you all.

(PS: I post here since the issue is similar; if you you think it deserves its own thread, I'll make a new one).

Did you know that the links produced by Dropbox need to be modified slightly?  For example,
https://www.dropbox.com/s
/v4069lqjgx7f4m9/jeroboamtoahab.sozi.html?dl=0
becomes

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/v4069lqjgx7f4m9/jeroboamtoahab.sozi.html

Yes, thank you. I've tried that too and it didn't work either...
I was suspecting the svg file itself could be the culprit, so i tried with a simpler one to see if that would work instead; and it's the same.

I think the problem here is that opening that link in Dropbox defaults to a preview page instead of the real html; what's weird is that it isn't doing it in yours.

I'd really like to know of a site (without having to set up a hosting myself) where I can upload an html and it shows it as is; without a shell of any kind... you know of any?

You may use Github. For a proper usage, the learning curve can be moderately steep, but I believe it's now easier to upload files while avoiding the use of a client (you can upload by a simple drag&drop).Once files are uploaded you have various options to vizualize it online. The most direct one is to use https://htmlpreview.github.io and feed it the url of the html file you uploaded on Github. Check for example what it renders once you enter the url of one of the first example available in the official sozi repository : https://github.com/senshu/Sozi/blob/master/samples/first-presentation.sozi.html. Last thing : If you don't pay, it's public.

Thank you SO much; I didn't realize I could use github for this too.
It's working like a charm.

Obviamente!

<iframe src="https://dl.dropbox.com/s/dk8git0g6c61gz1/drawing2.sozi.html" width="800" height="600"></iframe>
Es una prueba si querés usala a ver si te lo embebe.Yo probé en moodle del CITEP y anduvo bien.
Saludos
Javier
