Hi,
I'm a very new user of sozi and I don't understand how it's work. Should I use it inside Inkscape or as a standalone application ?
I've got the 13.x version in Inkscape, but if I lauch "sozi" in a terminal (i use Ubuntu 16.4), i see the 17.x version.

I would like to add music as background of my presentation (and export it in some movie format). But the tutorial explain how do this with the 13.x version as Inkscape extension (and with sozi-extra-media). I don't know where i have to put the sozi-extra-media 17.x files.

Thank you for your help,

Regards,

Axel Rousseau

PS : you can reply in english, french or esperanto

Sozi 13 is no longer maintained.
The official release is Sozi 17 and is a standalone application: you are supposed to create graphics in Inkscape (or any other SVG editor) and organize your presentation in Sozi.

Please download the latest development release (Sozi 17.12) from https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByRUreHgekjMWG9teGM2dE8wck0
It fixes a few bugs and should become the official release very soon.

The tutorial works for any version of Sozi.
Even if sozi-extras-media is an Inkscape extension, you should still use the presentation editor as a standalone application.

Cheers.

Thank you, but it doesn't work.
I remove every sozi files from my /usr/share/inkscape/extensions folder
I copied the sozi_extras_media.inx and sozi_extras_media.py in this folder (/usr/share/inkscape/extensions)
And I don't see the "extra_media" menu in the sozi application.

Where is my mistake ?

Inkscape extensions can be found in the Extensions menu of Inkscape.
