Hey there

I think I cannot solve this on my own ... First my svg file was clipped in my browser, then it did not show, and now that I fixed both issues, it simply does not appears into Sozy... :(
Help anyone ! I already spent about two digits number of hours upon this file, and it should be used soon...

Hi Marc,

I'm using Sozi 18.03 and it is ok for me. However, the SVG page is too big, and I had to zoom in a lot to fit the elements... Maybe this is the problem: your draw is too big.

Marcelo

I had just realised that a second before your message.. Any clue how I could make the file smaller (apart from throwing away items) ? Maybe build tree different files , and hyperlinks between them (if this is possible) ?

Thanks you very much
Marc

I think the best way is changing the page properties in Inkscape.. or the software you are using for SVG drawing

Aha !

I thought that the file was too heavy, but if i understand you correctly, I should just change the dimensions of the page... I was not aware that this was of importance even for a vector drawing... But i'm quite new to all this

Thanks again Marcelo

Hi, Marc and Marcelo.

Sozi tries to be "smart" about the dimensions of an SVG document.
It will not use the page properties, but the bounding box of the document content.

Marc: I found that your document contains "ghost" elements.
They are not visible because their size is 0, and they are not easy to find in Inkscape.
The web browser locates these elements far on the right and below the main graphics of your document, so Sozi thinks that your document is very big.

Unfortunately, there are many of them and it is not easy to send you a list and help you delete them.
I would advise to copy-paste elements from your original document into a new empty document.
Do not use the "select-all" function since it would also select the ghost elements: copy elements one after the other.

Bonjour Guillaume
