Oneof the most feared colors in the NT world is blue. The infamous BlueScreen of Death (BSOD) will pop up on an NT system whenever somethinghas gone terribly wrong. Bluescreen is a screen saver that not onlyauthentically mimics a BSOD, but will simulate startup screens seenduring a system boot.

Bluescreen cycles between different Blue Screens and simulated bootsevery 15 seconds or so. Virtually all the information shown onBluescreen's BSOD and system start screen is obtained from your systemconfiguration - its accuracy will fool even advanced NT developers. Forexample, the NT build number, processor revision, loaded drivers andaddresses, disk drive characteristics, and memory size are all takenfrom the system Bluescreen is running on.

Note: before you can run Bluescreen on Windows 95 or 98, you must copy\winnt\system32\ntoskrnl.exe from a Windows 2000 system to your\Windows directory. Simply copy Sysinternals BLUESCRN.SCR to your\system32 directory if on Windows NT/2K, or \Windows\System directoryif on Windows 95 or 98. Right click on the desktop to bring up theDisplay settings dialog and then select the "Screen Saver" tab. Use thepull down list to find "Sysinternals Bluescreen" and apply it as yournew screen saver. Select the "Settings" button to enable fake diskactivity, which adds an extra touch of realism!

I just replaced 2 eight year old Roku 3's and had black tape over the light cos it bugged me(too bright). My question is with the new 4K+ that I bought: Is it normal for the light to STAY on basically 24 hrs a day? It goes off when you turn the tv off or the screensaver kicks in but I'll wake up later or look on a living room tv and they are ON again. What's the deal? I have the power saver option on after 2 hours, screensaver after 5 minutes, etc - I know all the tricks. Is this light supposed to stay on??

Please be advised that Roku streaming devices are designed to remain connected to the internet. There is no "power button" to press on or off. This easy-to-use design prevents confusion by enabling instant access to your player any time you turn on your TV or switch from another source (e.g., a cable box, a Blu-ray player, or a gaming console). If you unplug the Roku device from the wall outlet, that is when the light will completely turn off since no power is being provided to the device, which you can do anytime if you want to and if the light bothers you. In any case, you have nothing to worry about if the light is on.

@Dworsky, keep in mind that Roku devices don't turn off. The power button on your remote is strictly for the TV. The light should go off when the screensaver activates or it goes into "power saving" mode (if available and enabled). If the light bothers you, the often recommended fix is to cover it with electrical tape.

If your kid is regularly exposed to digital devices, our blue lighting blocking glasses protect their eyes during screentime with our category 1 lenses. These block

out 55% of blue light to help prevent eye strain, headaches and helps to prevent sleepless nights.

Our sunglasses are available in sizes 0-2 years, 3-5 years, and 6 years+ meaning you can find the perfect fit for your little one. If your child is between sizes we recommend sizing up. You can use our size guide to measure up your kids for their sunnies here or find specific measurements on each product page.

All Babiators frames are made of a soft and flexible therma plastic rubber which makes them super comfortable and virtually indestructible. Our lenses in our original and screensavers styles are made from impact and shatter resistant polycarbonate, whilst our polarised lenses are made from TAC (Tri Acetate Cellulose).

1. If the desktop picture always reverts to a plain blue background, one of your login items may be causing the problem. The "TeamViewer" application can have this effect. Otherwise, rule out all other third-party login items as possible causes.

2. If you have a MacBook Pro with automatic graphics switching, disable it temporarily in the Energy Saver preference pane, set the Desktop picture, then restart the computer and re-enable graphics switching.

Please take note that, for Ubuntu 12.04 and in order to be able to run several screensavers using images from the harddisk (e.g., Carousel, Gleidescope, GLSlideshow, Jigsaw, or XAnalogTV) , I had to install some additional packages.

If you sudo apt-get remove gnome-screensaver but then sudo apt-get install rss-glx (see this Ubuntu Forums post and this one), the Really Slick Screensaver (GLX) effects will run on top of a screen that has not been blanked under Unity in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, not just in xscreensaver-demo but also when the real screensaver kicks in.

For these problems, download a copy of extras.rkt and put it in the folder with your solutions. Thenimport this library by including the line(require "extras.rkt")at the top of your file with the other requires. Also, be sure toinclude extras.rkt in the folder that you submit. Then, for eachproblem, put in lines that say(provide function)for each deliverable function, as you have done on previous problem sets. This will allow our testing framework to import your file and doautomated testing on it. You can use check-location, asyou did on the preceding problem set, to double-check that yoursolutions are in the right place.

Remember that you must follow the design recipe. Your deliverables include the data definitions (including interpretation and templates), contract and purpose header, code, and tests. Be sure to follow our coding conventions. This will make the TA's job much easier.

Note: For all universe programs, you may assumethat the mouse is never dragged or moved outside of the canvas. Oncethe mouse enters the canvas, if the mouse ever leaves the canvas, thenthe behavior of your system is unspecified.

Here's a demonstration of smooth dragging in which the decreasing radius of both dragged goofballs eventually causes the dragging mouse to lie outside a goofball's circle, which allows the goofball to escape the dragging mouse and assume its undragged (red) appearance and behavior:

You are to deliver a file named screensaver-2.rkt that provides all the functions provided for problem 1 above, modified to behave as specified in this problem 2. (That means you'll probably have to change your definitions of initial-world, world-after-tick, and world-after-key-event.) The goofball-at function should behave as before, but return an unselected Goofball.
