Garden*Hood celebrates Grant Park's Summer Shade Festival with experts offering tips and tools for creating an interesting, healthy understory garden. Summer Shade Festival-goers will receive a 15% discount on plant purchases when they show their 2010 festival program.

Highlights include:
Saturday, 2:00 pm
Greg Levine, Trees Atlanta, walks and talks about trees: how to plant them, where they grow best and what they need to thrive.
Sunday, 10:30 am
Scott McMahan, Garden*Hood, walks and talks about perennials for shade: learn your shade type and what grows best there. He'll show you that you've got more options than ferns and hostas!
