Spot On: Perennials for the Shade, Saturday, July 10, 10am - Noon: Garden*Hood shines some dappled light on shade-loving plants that come back year after year. Walk and talk with Garden*Hood co-owner and long-time garden designer David McMullin about the lushest and liveliest perennial performers for your shady garden spot.
Wicked Hot Weekend, July 17 & 18, 10am - 3pm: Celebrate our southern heat! Garden*Hood can turn you on to heat lovin' plants that will not just survive, but thrive in your garden all summer long. Tropicals, succulents, grasses, and summer-blooming perennials can take your outdoor spaces from drab to fab without a lot of fuss or precious water. To put a little party in the weekend, EarthShaking Music will drum up some hot beats with a circle of musicians, and our friendly neighborhood bartender, David, will pour out some fun with gourmet cocktails.
Garden*Hood was recently Voted Best Place to Buy Plants by AJC readers and editors. Hours have been expanded to Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 6pm, and is located at 347 Boulevard SE in Grant Park (entrance gate on Woodward Ave).
