Howdo I revert back from the latest update? I will now need to change programs do reduce some noise or add years to my workflow. These new settings don't work the same as the older version and the AI is a nightmare when you're batch processing 200 files at once.

I had to roll back to 6.3. Things were not right after this update. AI could not detect people in my photo and there were other masking issues too. Denoise AI did not work at all on my .CR3 files. In every try I was presented with the message "Upsupported Photo: This photo is not supported by this feature." No explanation as to why or how to fix it. Usually I love getting the updates but this was over the top frustrating. Let me know when it all works and I will try again. Thx.

@Catherine2950959417ec Do you perhaps shoot one of the downsized raw formats like sRAW or mRAW? They're not "real" raw data any more as they're demosaiced by the camera, so they're not supported at this time.

I am a bit late the revert to downrev thread, this being Feb '24. However, I wanted to add my two cents. I was all good with updates in LRc until earlier this month. The move to 13.0.1.2 (or there abouts) really impacted LRc speed. I have a Nvidia GTX745 & 32GB RAM.. Granted, my PC is a bit outdated, but if it ain't broke...$$$ I reverted to 12.5 and my graphics processing has improved, not to what is was, but liveable (haven't rebooted yet). NOTE: reverting to 12 from 13 resulted in losing to access to pics processed in catalog13--the revert forced me back to a pre 13 catalog. This means edits made after upgrading to 13 are likely going to require re-do. So everthing since October in my case. Guess I will live in v12.5 until $3K available for a new PC with updated Nvidia graphics card.

I have previously had no issue downloading lightroom on my Mac using the three dots in the CC desktop app and selecting "older versions" as instructed here, however now I no longer have the three dots and it just says "system incompatible." I am still able to access older versions of photoshop and other programs, but can't figure out a way to get Lightroom back on my computer, and I'm at my wits end after wasting many, many hours fighting with this system. Hope someone can help.

Same problem. Trying to update LR removed my existing version and then it told me new version incompatible! And I no longer have 3 dots and option to roll back. So I have lost access to my many-years-long LR library!!!!

Hello im having issues with Lightroom CC on my phone (android). everytime i try to edit a photo it just shows that its trying to load the image, then it says "faild to load development version" then continues to have the little spinning wheel. All im trying to do is export a picture and it tells me i have no internet connection even though i do. Please help ive been trying for the past hour and nothings working

Just started the Failure to load development error. I have been using a Samsung Galaxy tab A and LR CC for months just fine. I do not a Prevent From Sleep choice in settings. I cannot import new images into LR CC either. Any help appreciated.

I am also facing the exact same problem whenever I try to open a photo in lightroom then I couldn't open it and they show this message failed to load development option. So I don't know what should I do? Fixed this problem Adobe.

I turned my WiFi off and back on and then restarted the app. I think my problem is due to slow internet upload speeds. Downloads are fast but uploads aren't which I think causes issues when doing cloud computing.

Not exactly the same problem but I get the same message. I have a Samsung Tab A clone. What seems to be happening is LR is confusing the SD card that I have inserted permanently as added storage with the SD card from my camera that I am reading as USB external storage. It writes all or some of its info out to the camera card instead of the internal card.

I am running mac Monterrey with all the DNG/LRCC updated and have a similiar problem that the development module does not load. Only the "Basic" editing features appear with no access to the library AND I do have a good wifi connection.

Guys, I was having the same problem, the photos that a take and save in Instagram doesn't showed up, so I needed to click in the "Google Photos" icon, but it was doing that same bug, so I take a printscreen of the photo that I took on the Instagram and it worked!

(Sorry for bad English)

In case it helps anyone, my versions would not load for one photo of mine. I did restart my computer, that didn't work. What I think might have helped is that I closed the Adobe Creative Cloud icon in my top bar on my mac. Suddenly that photo is loading the versions. They were just spinning where the thumbnail images were. Good luck!

You can use the premium features of the Lightroom app by using 2 methods: 1st, Method is to use a free MODED version, which is available on lightroomapks.com, 2nd is to use the Trial version, which offers the app's premium features for 7 days.

This website is designed to provide the 100 % working downloadable link of Lightroom MOD APK to our users, so they can enjoy the premium features of the app free of cost.

When trying to import via USB cable to the M11 using Lightroom, it only shows the Leica M11 device, but shows "No Photos" in the device. I have a different computer with an earlier version of Lightroom that works just fine.

The photos of the M11 (the thumnails in import mode) were not displayed in Lightroom for a long time when connecting the camera to the computer via cable. The problem was with Apple or Adobe. Anyway, it was fixed at some point (with Ventura 13.2 I think, but maybe also with a Lightroom update at the same time). Then at some time it didn't work again for a while, maybe it was under Lightroom 12.4, but I can't remember exactly. Under 12.5 it runs but with me again.

One of my favorite things about Lightroom is that I keep finding new ways to work with my photos and ultimately be a more creative photographer. It's also kind of humbling when discover a tool that I never really spent much time with, only to realize just how powerful it is. You'd think that, after spending years diving deep into an app like Lightroom, I would have figured out everything it has to offer. But, not too long ago, I decided to take a peek at what the Versions feature is all about because, if I'm being honest, I never really paid much attention to it.

Man, am I grateful that I decided to give it the time of day because Versions IS AWESOME!. If you're a Lightroom Classic user, the closest analogous feature that I could compare Versions to is Snapshots, except I find the former feature to be easier to use and far more flexible. Regardless, here are three reasons why I think Versions is worth your time. But, before you dive into that, be sure to check out this video where I explain how to use Versions with your photos.

When I look back at some of my older processed photos, I sometimes cringe. Other times, I hang my head and ask myself, "What were you thinking when you edited this photo?" It's not that I hate the actual composition. Rather, my choice of post-processing isn't anywhere near Versions makes it very easy to try different editing techniques, which is important because our sense of style and aesthetic tends to change over time. For example, here's a photo I took and edited in 2011. While the stylization isn't bad, it's nowhere near what I'd find visually pleasing today.

With Versions, I can save this edit in case I want to recall it anytime in the future, revert to the original shot, and apply an entirely different treatment. I can use updated tools like Lightroom's AI masks, apply an adaptive preset, or try something else out entirely. Here's a different version of the photo that I processed and saved as its own "2023" version, which is much more aligned with what I find visually pleasing today.

In addition to trying out different stylization treatments, Versions allows you to apply completely different crops and aspect ratios to your photos. Using the above image as an example again, let's say I want to apply a different crop because I want to share it on Instagram. So, that'd probably mean that a square crop would be more appropriate. I also want to see whether a black-and-white edit would perform better with my audience. With Versions, I can easily add a black-and-white preset, apply a square crop, and save it as a separate version without ever overwriting the previous treatment.

Because Lightroom is a cloud-based photo management platform, every Version you save on any device will sync with each other. So, if you edit a photo in Lightroom on your iPhone and save that Version, you can access it on your iPad or desktop instantly. Each Version contains a complete history of what you did and you can load it with a click or a tap. This workflow essentially justifies why I absolutely love using Lightroom (as opposed to Lightroom Classic). For me, the benefit of starting an edit on my phone with one of my original RAW files while waiting in line somewhere (instead of doom-scrolling on social media), saving that Version, and then working on a different take when I get home is amazing.
