Illegal encroachment at Vatika City sector 49 outgate

Dear Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to the illegal encroachment at our outgate by Vita in connivance with our RWA. The land in question belongs to Vatika City. All residents are stakeholders in this.

The background is that when Vatika City sector 49 came up over 15 years ago, there were no facilities available for milk etc. A Vita booth was allowed at the outgate to sell only Vita products. This booth became a brick and mortar shop, selling grocery etc. and with a cold storage too. Their electricity and water connection is from Vatika City till date, without paying for it.

A case was filed in the High Court by the previous RWA. Their electricity outstanding amount is Rs4457801. However the new RWA has joined hands with Vita and a huge illegal structure is being constructed for commercial purposes. No structure/ shop should be allowed in this area as it is a green belt. 

The proposed supermarket will also cause a traffic nightmare for Vatika City residents. The free flow of traffic will be hindered by vehicles parked at the outgate.

There is no drainage and water will collect here during the rains.

We have checked with the builder Mr Gaurav Bhalla and he has confirmed that no illegal structure was allowed by them till their facility company Enviro was managing Vatika City.

The land belongs to Vatika City and the RWA has no authority to lease/sell this land which happens to be prime property.

I write to you after having personally interacted with you in 2016 to 2017. I had approached the then DC Mr T L Satyaprakash on a case of cheating by builder Gambhir Housing.

My case was sent to the AGRF and then to you. I visited your office on several occasions with my late husband Mukul Sharma. Eventually my money was refunded thanks to the help of then Police Commissioner Mr Sandeep Khirwar. My experience has been really good with Government officials.

The residents of Vatika City urge you to demolish all illegal encroachments at the outgate, including the Vita shop. Times have changed. We have grocery shops in Vatika City basements and several grocery apps like Big Basket or Blinkit are available to us.
