Dear VCAOA & Estate Manager,
I have been a resident of Sovering 4 for the last 14 years, and I have witnessed both the best and worst of Vatika City. As buyers of premium apartments, we are now facing significant issues. We have been charged incremental fees periodically, which we have paid, but for the past year and a half, we have encountered problems that were never present before.
The shafts are constantly dripping, many gym machines are frequently out of order, and the air conditioners are not cooling properly. The C4 lobby is in terrible condition; the ceiling has fallen, and a basic paint job is overdue. It's worth noting that every flat paid ₹56,000, yet a small patch of the lobby remains unpainted.
Recently, the situation has worsened, as garbage is no longer being collected daily due to staff shortages. No other society seems to be experiencing this issue—why is it only Vatika? Garbage collection and cleaning of common areas are fundamental hygiene necessities. Additionally, the lifts have a persistent odour. If staff members have left, it is the responsibility of the management to recruit new personnel. We are paying full maintenance fees, so why should we suffer?
I hold no hostility towards any Residents' Welfare Association (RWA) members or Vatika City staff. My only request is for basic hygiene and maintenance. Whoever is responsible needs to address these issues.
