As the estate manager, It is believed that you had ordered to shut off the Centralised AC Cooling of all apartments of the four Sovereign Blocks of Vatika City last night, whose heating dues were pending! Cooling and Heating are two seperate issues. The AC Cooling Vendor, is M/s Enviro/ VHPL, sister concern of the Builder M/s Vatika Ltd, whilst the Heating Boiler is situated inside Vatika, and is under the RWA control. The following is being highlighted for your knowledge, and immediate action-:
1. Reference your circular of 7th April, 2023, on My Gate, where it was mentioned that outstanding heating dues provided during the winter of 2022/2023, if not cleared would result in disconnection of HVAC( Heating Ventilation And Chiller Facilities). Heating can be affected, not Chilling!!! Who authorized you to violate the Hon’ble Courts Order, dated 3rd of January, 2023( copy enclosed), which tantamounts to a contempt of court.
2. Your team has billed even those apartments who never opted for heating during the year 2022/2023. This type of absurdity never happened before in the last 15 yrs. Surely, disconnect the heating in the winter of 2023, for outstanding dues, but how can you disconnect cooling facilities of so many apartments like mine, who never opted for the heating facility, and that too in the midst of the summer season.
3. M/s Enviro/ VHPL, it appears has entered into a clandestine AC Cooling agreement with the RWA, and neither have they, nor has the RWA, found it necessary to share the agreement with the end users i.e the four Sovereign Block Aprtments of Vatika City, who not only enjoy, but are guaranteed this exclusive facility of Centalised AC Cooling, since the purchase of these apartments.
4. Please refer to the open house meeting in the Sovereign Club on Sunday, the 2nd of April, 2023. The residents like me had asked for the AC Chiller agreement if any, with Enviro to be circulated, which however was clearly denied. If everything is so transparent, why can't the agreement copy be shared with the end-users?? If we are to pay for a service, we must know what are the salient features of that agreement...which appears to be for 9(Nine) yrs. The tenure of this RWA, ends on the 15th November, 2024, i.e approximately 1.5 yrs from now. How can you make a secret agreement which may jeopardize our facilities enjoyed since the inception of this society. If there is nothing to hide, why are you wary to share the copy of the agreement, which we can demand by right!!
You are advised to resume AC Cooling, with immediate effect, as this disruption will adversely effect Senior Citizens, Children, and some very elderly people with health issues.
