Dear all,
You all must have seen the circular of VCAOA of 12 September in which the charges of WTP have been quoted, and today the bill for the same has also been raised & sent to all the residents.
For your information, I would like to bring to your notice that the tentative budget of Rs 40 lakh for the water treatment plant was passed in the AGM on 29 October 2023 to get an approval on commencement of the project.
The above 40 lakh was a budgetary amount as quoted by our FMC. After GBM we formed a committee with technical experts and along with FMC we relooked at the best players in the market. Hence after multiple rounds of negotiations & discussions we successfully brought down the budgets to *Rs 1702972. This money was paid from the maintenance account, as there was no need for recovery as the budgets were reduced to less than half. The work was done by ION Exchange ( the best company for water treatment projects).*
It is absolutely wrong and illegal to send a bill today for the work which has been done a year ago and for which the money has also been paid. RWA is not authorized to raise these bills now and make recovery from the residents on any pretext, which is very wrong.
*No resident should pay this bill and everyone should oppose it.*
"As a former President, I'm bringing this to your attention and the community's notice: This deduction is unlawful since payment for the project has already been made. Let's unite to stand against the current RWAs high headedness by refusing to pay this bill."
