URGENT: Major incident in C3 Service lift - Life threatning

I am calling out you all to immediately come to C3 and take responsibility of major incident happened with service lift in C3.

Power failure resulted in service lift failure of C3, my wife was stuck in there for 20 min between 3rd and 4th floor without phone. No support system existed inside the lift, emergency phone was not working, she kept banging the doors for help. A small kid heard the noise and informed reception security. To make the matter worse an electrical guy turned up after 20 min who had no idea what to do in this scenario. Finally Vikas from rescue team reached after calling Padam. This is all when I have numbers of all these people and I was here. Had it been a kid or parents their life would have been at severe risk in those moments of panic.

I called estate manger Manish Gautam who showed his helplessness with the situation. I asked him to immediately reach here from wherever he is and he responds he is stuck in traffic somewhere. I told him what if someone died what he would do and to my shock his response was he could not have done anything even then.

I want to know who is accountable for this. RWA, Abante, estate manager, security head…I demand explanation for it.

You all are answerable to Sovereign residents and in this case me and my wife specifically. I hold you all responsible for such a horrendous facilties we live with.

In the GBM, we were told we have upgrade AMC for lifts with 9 technicians and onsite storage of spares. 

With that why should’ r a. Technician come instead of electrician in such situation, basic alarm and phone should be checked regularly. 

fyi with all upgraded AMC it took one week for the same lift to be repaired in the first week of may and it seems it was not checked for basic safety

This is certainly very concerning and needs immediate attention. 

Estate manager should be more sensitive and empathetic while handing such crisis situation. 
If he shows helplessness, then where will the residents go for help? Highly unprofessional behaviour. 


I urge RWA and Abante team to address this on priority to avoid any mishap in future.

There seems to be trend of incidents - OEM should be called to investigate in depth. And if replacement is required, cost should not come in the way of safety

It’s been more than 24 hours and I have had no written or telephonic response from anyone. Apparently no one is taking responsibility of critical issues and society concerns at large.

I am left with no other option but to escalate it to authorities to intervene for some action they deem necessary.

Apologies for previous email without having all details.

I was away from home yesterday and now this morning I checked with my wife estate manager and lift manager came to meet her yesterday with details.

I hope action plan in is place to avoid future misadventures.
