*Residents would like to know WHAT the RWA is hiding.*
Shortly after the RWA took office, information emerged that unnecessary expenses were allegedly being recorded in the accounts and funds from the escrow account .Furthermore, several extra charges were allegedly levied on residents of Sovereign Towers illegally.
As a right to understand the correctness and legality of these additional charges and various suspicions transactions , I had to file a formal complaint with the office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gurugram.
On the instructions of the Honorable Deputy Commissioner, the District Registrar appointed an investigating officer. Unfortunately, the RWA did not provide the investigating officer with the necessary documents, records, details, and clarifications. Subsequently, the RWA challenged the District Registrar's order before the State Registrar of Chandigarh. After a proper hearing, the State Registrar upheld the District Registrar's order.
Despite this, the RWA filed an appeal against that order before the Registrar General of Chandigarh.
“With his latest order attached RG has again dismissed their appeal and *confirmed for enquiry against the RWA*”
It is noteworthy that lakhs of rupees in fees have been paid to lawyers for all these appeals and legal proceedings, and this entire expense has been borne from the CAM fund deposited by the residents.
*Residents will like to know from RWA*
* What information is the RWA hiding?
* Why is it not cooperating with government investigation agencies and officials?
* Why were the necessary accounts details not provided to the investigating officer?
* Why lakhs of rupees from CAM are being used in legal battles through repeated appeals? And asa result CAM charges are being increased!
