Listserv for the Southwestern Coop

Fellow coop members:

I have created a listserv for us to use and added each of you (the 10 county FSD's), we can add others as needed like Mike Mullins in addition to myself.  The listserv address is  southwes...@googlegroups.com.  We can adjust the settings, add names and addresses, and discuss how we want to use this list.  We can create others to communicate with others groups if we want to like vendors, potential bidders.

I have also created an email address for the coop southwes...@gmail.com and google phone number (304) 405-4796, which can be also written as (304) 405-4SWN {for southwestern}.  This can be set up to ring any phone number we want and have voice messages emailed to the appropriate person(s).  We will need to set up the voice mail greeting and name, and adjust other settings to get it the way we want it to work.

Next, I will be adding a Google site which will give us an official website.  There will be a calendar and place to share files etc.  Hopefully we can make some of it private for just our use and the rest public.  We may be able to make a private space to share with bidders and vendors too.

We can talk about all of this and make adjustments until we get it the way we want it.  Hopefully it will help us streamline somethings and replace some of the services RESA provided.  We won't publicize anything until we are ready to share it with anyone other than ourselves.
