"Working for a home within reach for EVERY Pennsylvanian"

Dear George, Pennsylvania stands to lose at least $153 million in HUD funding in 2013 with the proposed 8.2% across the the board cuts, unless Congress acts to stop it. The good news is, Congress is working to avoid automatic across the board cuts. The bad news is, a negotiated agreement means some programs will be winners while others will be big losers. It’s up to us to make sure housing programs come out on top! Join us at a local or Washington DC meeting as we reach out to PA’s congressional delegation to make sure they understand the importance of HUD and USDA housing dollars in your work to revitalize your communities and ensure that seniors, children and people with disabilities have homes within their reach. We need to act now. So much is at stake. Housing is central to the economy – it employs people, creates demand for locally manufactured products and pumps money into the economy. HUD and USDA housing programs pave the way for the private sector. They provide a big bang for just 3% of the total federal budget. Take action now, by calling or writing your Representative and Senators. To send them an email right now, click the blue Act Now button below. Register Here to join us in DC on Tuesday, February 12. Or register here to join a district visit Your voices matter. Cindy Daley, Policy Director
