Please join us for a meeting of the Southwestern PA Housing Alliance on Thursday, September 26th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. to hear about Resident-Driven Vacant Property Remediation: A new approach pioneered by Operation Better Block (OBB) in Homewood. OBB has actively engaged neighbors in determining the fate not just of their own homes, but their neighborhood, and done it in a systematic and replicable way. OBB will be conducting a full training on how to implement the manual in your community and will provide the training details at the meeting.
Presenters:

- Demi Kolke, LSW, Community Development Coordinator, Operation Better Block
The presentation will be followed by a meeting of the SWPA Alliance, topics will include updates on:
- Inclusionary Zoning - Bob Damewood
- Homeless Advisory Board - Chuck Keenan
- State Housing Trust Fund Campaign - Fund the Fund
- Advocacy on Sequestration and Federal Housing Budget - Liz Hersh
