Federal News

Washington may be resigned to letting Sequestration happen. Are YOU?

News and rhetoric out of DC suggest increasing acceptance among lawmakers that our worst nightmares will come true.

Pennsylvania's most vulnerable citizens stand to lose. Under H.R. 8 American Taxpayer Relief, 8.2% across-the-board cuts are scheduled to occur in MARCH. PA will suffer a loss of $153 Million in HUD funding.

Half in Ten, the campaign to cut poverty in half in 10 years, has launched #TalkPoverty, an opportunity to use social media to inspire President Obama to address struggling families in his State of the Union address on February 12.

From Bucks County to Allegheny County, continuums of care conducted a sixth annual census of the unsheltered population (Point-In-Time Survey).
