UPDATE FOR 3/28

1- we get to play ruby in 6 days…and it’s going to be fucking glorious. Some of us have been lifting. Some of us have been running g. Some of us will be playing in our first game in years. Regardless, it will be amazing, and we will celebrate, regardless of the outcome, at the best rugby bar in New England…The Tinker’s Son.
B- We’ve been asking the Free Jacks for weeks if our fans and family would have to pay to come and watch us play next Saturday, they finally got back to all four teams, indicating that not only friends and family would have to pay, but they’re expecting every player from every team to buy a ticket as well. This isn’t sitting well with any of the four teams since we were told we wouldn’t have to buy tickets, weeks ago. With that said we’re looking at all options, including moving our game hopefully to the field at Hingham high school, if not to a field that would be available. This is going to allow us to start the game whenever we want, and have our drink up at Tink‘s where we can host to the NYPD properly. As a sidenote, the two other teams, the Greyhounds and the team from Canada may be joining us for the day, as they are pretty pissed as well.
3- please give your leadership team a day or two to sort of the final details, to allow y’all to have a proper rugby Saturday.

Ok boys, here’s the skinny. Too much back and forth with the FJ in terms of rules and pricing. We’re going to KO at 2PM at Hingham High on the turf. Drink up will be at Tinks following. I love you all, see you Saturday.
