I'm canceling satsang for March 1st, 2014 because we have maha satsang on Sunday, March 2nd. Please see link before....In addition, we are having satsang tonight at 10pm to celebrate shivratri. here are the details for that...

The celebration will comprise of the following:

-- Rudram

-- Singing

-- Knowledge (Shiv Sutras, perhaps)

-- Meditation

Where: South San Jose Art of Living Center

When: 10pm, Thursday, Feb 27

Dear all:

We are excited to share with you that we will have the bay area wide Mahasatsang and also celebrate Shivaratri on Sunday, March 2nd.

Shivaratri means ‘the night of Shiva’ and is observed in honour of Lord Shiva (The meditative aspect of the Universe). According to the legend from Shivapurana, when Shiva was asked by Parvathi what pleases him most, He is supposed to have replied thus: ‘The 14th night of the new moon, in the dark fortnight during the month of phalgun, is my most favorite day. It is known as Shivaratri'.

Let's come together to meditate, sing and celebrate on this auspicious day!
