[SouthNLP 2024] Keynote speakers and the date confirmed

I am happy to announce that we have two keynote speakers confirmed (many thanks to Mohit, who helped through this process):

 

• Dr. Mohit Bansal, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
• Dr. Kathleen McKeown, Columbia University

 

After reviewing the survey results, we have decided to hold the event on March 29 (Friday), 2024. Thank you for your participation in the poll.

 

I made a flyer for the symposium, so please feel free to distribute it:

I created an event for the symposium at the ACL Portal (https://www.aclweb.org/portal/node/add/event), which is under review. Once it is approved (hopefully), ACL will email the event to all subscribers.

 

Lastly, I will write a separate email for the first CFP. Could you please distribute it to relevant groups (e.g., your lab members, NLP-related researchers who are not in the participating universities)?
