First, hi.

I'm Ed, I dropped by on Sunday to see what the space was like and had great fun fitting the door frame someone made to that doorway at the back.

I'm not a member yet, but if we can get a bunch of people together for one evening this week, I'd love to help hang the door. It's immensely heavy so it's at least a four person job.

What needs doing is:
Shifting the door somewhere it can be attacked with a circular saw.

Removing the kick board and cutting it to length.

Maybe screwing the hinge side of the frame to the wall with more screws.

Building a door sized platform to hold the door up since there's no floor.

Then actually hanging the door, which involves getting the door in place which probably involves clearing some junk away to make room to handle it safely, putting it in place, chiselling out the space for the hinges then finally screwing it on.

Anyone up for it?

In the abscence of anyone chirping up for this on Tuesday evening (unlikely to get a crew together at short notice for today), this sounds like an excellent job for Wednesday.
