Subject: SDCT - local event - Southgate Summer Festival

Dear all,

 

Just to remind you that Southgate Chamber of Trade have organised the 1st Southgate Summer Festival on Saturday 20th July taking place from 11 am – 5 pm.  See attached flyer.

 

The Festival will be a great way of involving all the business in Southgate, residents and the local community.  There will be live music from local bands, musicians throughout the day at 3 locations, Chase Side, Dennis Parade and Ashfield Parade. Most of the restaurants will be offering food out-side their premises, there will be stalls, children’s entertainers, face painters and the Scouts.

 

David Burrowes MP and our local councillors are coming along and possibly the Mayor as well.

 

Southgate District Civic Trust will have a stall, so come along and talk to us or buy something!  I’m not yet sure where we will be, but you can enjoy the event while looking for us.

 

We need some help to man the stall, so if you have a spare few hours please volunteer.  This event is being co-ordinated by Joe Studman, who can be contacted on joest...@gmail.com or by phone: 0787 553 7295.

 

Come along on the 20^th, support your local community and have fun.
