Subject: [dstar_digital] Boy Scout National Jamboree
The Boy Scout National Jamboree is being held in Mt Hope Wv. There is a D-Star repeater that has been installed and donated by Icom. It is connected to reflector 33a. The call is WV8BSA. The jamboree runs thru July 23. We need to have as many people as possible to connect and talk to the scouts. We are trying to put at least 400 scouts thru the radio merit badge. The scouts have to talk 10 minutes on the radio. We also plan to have 5000 scouts talk on the radio. We have been having trouble with the HF bands due to poor propagation. Any thing you can do will help. The event call sign is K2BSA.
