Hello dear dancers,

There's plenty of tango this week! Tonight, come drop-in to the beginner-plus & intermediate classes in Ashland. Then get your groove on at Practica on Thursday. Dance the night away at the magical Milonga Alegría Saturday, January 17. And then if you wake up Sunday morning and just can't get enough tango, you are invited to come drop-in to the Beginner class at the Annex Dance Studio. All are welcome! Read on for all the details.

Last month's Milonga Alegría was delightful with over thirty people on the floor. Let's keep that energy going for the first milonga of the new year with special guest DJ Jazmine.

Come learn to dance Argentine Tango! Over the course of six weeks, instructors Morgan and Ben will guide you through the basic principles of tango. Each week’s techniques build on the previous week’s material so you can leave the series with a set of strong fundamentals. This format allows all students to grow as a group, deepen their learning each week, and build trust with each other. At the end of the series, students will be able to feel confident and enjoy dancing in a social setting. No partner or experience required to join. If you can walk you can dance tango! Morgan and Ben believe in creating an inclusive, friendly dancing environment where everyone is welcome. Wear something comfortable that you can move in. Bring dance shoes or clean socks, no heels necessary and flats recommended to start.

And as always, you can check out all the details on the calendar at www.ashlandtango.com.

See you on the dance floor!
