Practica this Thursday! Theme: The Walk

Hello dear dancers,

I am excited to be hosting Practica tomorrow evening, Thursday, July 3 from 7-8:30pm. I will be offering a short mini-lesson at 7:15pm on “The Walk.” This fundamental step is one of the most important to revisit as you refine your dance. Bring your comfiest shoes or socks and sense of curiosity. 

If you haven’t been to practica recently, this is your personal invitation! There’s been an average of 5-10 people coming each time, with a wide range of experience from just beginning their tango journey to long-standing members of our community. I have heard from several experienced dancers that they are especially excited to work with beginners to help deepen their dance skills. 

You also may not know that a different member of our community hosts Practica each week. Here is the schedule so you know who will most likely be welcoming you each week. (Although sometimes we fill in for each other!) 

First Thursday of the month: Morgan 

Second: Gray

Third: Kyle

Fourth: Ben 

Fifth: Samarra

Directions: It is a green house on E Main St. Come down the driveway and through the gate at the end of the driveway, on the far right. Please park across the street along the cemetery on Morton, to keep the neighbors happy. Thanks!
