DJ Seminars

Whether you are planning to become a tango DJ or already have some experience and wish to deepen your skills, my workshops and private trainings (offered since 2008) will support you in developing confidence, musical knowledge, and a refined approach. We work on:

• Distinguishing danceable from non-danceable music
• Building a strong repertoire of classical tangos, milongas, and valses and organising it in a coherent way
• Creating harmonious tandas, preparing cortinas, and create a flow by balancing different tango styles
• Recognising different audiences and adapting your musical choices (e.g., local prácticas vs. international events)
• Researching tango music and building a reliable foundation of musical knowledge
• Understanding the basics of sound quality to ensure a good experience on the dance floor
• Networking and exchanging with other DJs to continue growing in the craft

Graduates of my training are now DJing across Europe and the USA, recognised for their wonderfully danceable and beautifully balanced sets
