Boatnick Parade 2013

OK... Finally got some info about the boatnick parade

Southern Oregon Iaido Club is going to make a fantastic show.
Because of class support (and me donating my sword fixing funds) we are able to afford a 2' x 10' banner to carry.

Preliminary Assignments in the order of walking:
Lucinda: Flag1
Brad/Teresa: Flag2 / Flyer
Viviana+Greg: Walk & Weapon carry (Holds weapons we are not using)
Ismael: Demo1/Weapons
Sky: Demo2/Flyer
Steven: Demo3
Sensei: Demo4/Flyer

We will make final decisions when we are there but look over the standing Seitei Kata and Batto sets.
A far as I know now, we will be giving out small directions to make origami bird along with a piece of paper to do it with and our card. (We might also have to attach it to a pencil.. I will explain later"

IMPORTANT INFO

TIME: 9am THIS Saturday May 25th

Location: Corner of 6th and B street.

What to Wear: UNIFORM nicely tied and worn properly.

What to bring:      Iaito / Bokken if you don't have Iaito.
                               Black Sandals / Flip-flops or shoes (something that does not draw attention to your feet)
                               Head band if you have one (Greg and Viviana)
                               Bring your sword bag, for carrying your Iaito outside of the demonstration purpose.

NOTE: Please use the rest room before you leave the house. You will either be picked up when you reach the end (down by 7-11) or you will walk back up the street with your classmates to a pickup location.
