Hi!  My co-worker, Laura and I are biologists in the Bacteriology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Laura and I are learning, through the National Science Foundation (NSF) Innovation-Corps program, how to tailor our academic research for the needs of the 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing industries. Do you or someone you know have FDM or SLS experience? I would love to schedule a 15 minute phone call to chat! Basically, we are interested in your thoughts about the future of 3D printers and what you believe are the unmet needs.

Thank you,

Jenn

Hi Jennifer -

I don't know that this list sees much traffic anymore, but I'm always happy to chat about 3D printing (I have several years worth of experience with FDM and have blogged many of my trials and tribulations at haveblue.org).

Also, if you have the time, make sure to come by our next 3D Printing Meetup - we meet at the Milwaukee Makerspace the first Saturday of each month:  http://www.meetup.com/3dpmke/
