FYI, we haven't tested it yet but let me know if any of you give it a shot.

The post I read suggested 10g per 100ml.  I didn't really measure it all that closely.

After some testing, I think I might need to increase the amount of sugar, as I'm seeing some issues with small objects.

What is the mixture? How much sugar to how much water? I will try it this afternoon with something.

I don't know, I haven't tried it.  My mosaic is currently partially disassembled and it's the only printer I'm using Kapton at the moment.  My prusa is currently being retrofitted for dual extruders.  The x-carriage for the dual extruders is the part I'm actually printing.

It makes sense, I've heard Jordan talking about using dissolvable sugar supports.  I'd be interested to try it with Polycarbonate or Nylon.  Those hate to stick to anything...

How well does it work with Kapton?

Was reading the reprap forums and came across a post suggesting sugar water for a surface primer.  I'm currently printing some ABS parts on my M2 directly onto the bare glass with just a spritz of sugar water to adhere the print to the bed.

So far it's working great.

Anyone else tried this?

I have been using hairspray for ABS. It's the best solution I've found thus far.
