I've been keeping an eye on the weather this week and it looks like it's gonna be nice and clear for the gig on Saturday! It's supposed to be wet this week but around Wednesday it's gonna dry out and stay dry for the rest of the week (theoretically). Again, if it's wet, we'll postpone until next Saturday.
THE SKINNY:
Random Fursuit Gig on Saturday February 4th starting around 1:30pm at my warehouse in downtown Portland.
Location of my warehouse:

Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend even if you have a suit or not. I know there will be at least three of us with suits (I'm not getting mine out, someone has to wrangle all of y'all!) so bring yourselves, good walking shoes, and a camera/phone to take lots of pictures with.
We'll start from my warehouse and cross the Morrison Bridge into downtown. Afterwards, we'll make a loop thru downtown, pile up on the MAX, hit the bus mall, and anywhere else y'all feel like going. We'll come back across the Morrison Bridge back to my warehouse when everyone is exhausted. Keep in mind that my warehouse closes at 7pm and we'll need to make our way back over around 6pm (if not earlier).
There is a parking lot in front of my warehouse and I'll ask them if I can commandeer a space to store you guy's cars. Let me know who is bringing cars so I'll know how many spots to commandeer. You can also park on the street around my warehouse for free and you can also park on the parking lot of Montage (they won't open until 6 or so).
Bring everything that you're gonna need with you and if you don't have a car, you can store your stuff in my unit inside the warehouse. I'll try to remember to pick up a couple bottles of water and some long straws this week but since I've got swiss cheese for a memory, it would probably be a safe bet to bring your own. There is plenty of places around downtown to stop and fill up a water bottle.
Also, keep in mind that Saturday Market is CLOSED until April so there won't be anything happening at Skidmore Fountain.
Just to recap:
WHAT: Random Fursuit Gig
WHERE: Downtown Portland (meet at my warehouse,
http://g.co/maps/7r2wv).
WHEN: 1:30pm to 6pm
WHO: Anyone and everyone, whether you have a suit or not.
WHY: Because it's fun!
Questions/comments? Post a response here or email me personally.
One last thing: I'm spreading this around to all the other local groups. I know some of you guys are too far away, but I'm still extending the invitation to y'all if you're interested in coming. maybe y'all could get together and carpool.

Keep an eye on this thread and I'll post all the particulars as the week progresses. I'm just hoping the weather will hold out.
Don't bring any hooch with you. I don't want to get mobbed by every homeless person in downtown.

Addendum. It helps if I'm not a retard and remember I read both not 30 seconds before replying. Tired skunk after 12 hours of making hooch. I do not, however know where your warehouse is.
I both have that weekend off, and have a suit! I think I shall try to make it. Is there a meetup time and place yet?
Hey gang,
I've been thinking that if it's clear and dry next Saturday. (2/4) that we should do some random fursuiting around Downtown for a while. I was thinking we could get together around 1:30 at my warehouse and stroll across the Morrison Bridge and make a scenic loop thru downtown provided the weather holds up. There's plenty of parking under the Morrison Bridge by my warehouse and I might even be able to secure some spots in the parking lot.
If you guys are interested, drop a message here and also send one to Mother Nature asking her to keep the skies clear next Saturday as well. If it does rain, we'll postpone to the next Saturday (or wheneever it dries up again).
I've got space in my warehouse to store your gear and there is a restroom onsite. My warehouse closes at 7 so we'd have to be back before then. So kick it around for a week and lemme know.
You don't hafta look at Facespace for any info!
