Subject: Southern East Coastway Commuters May timetable
I would just like to register my dissappointment in Southern as the
17:23 from London Bridge was still a totally inadequate 8 carriages.
Southern really do not care about the commuters on the East Coast
line.
Our complaints/actions during the winter months have led to nothing,
except for a further reduction in capacity with the change in
carriages, to Gatwick Express ones, on the 18:22 from LB.
I realise the capacity at that time was not required, but I have heard
that the punctuality has been reduced as the doors are narrow and at
the ends of the carriages so it takes longer for passengers to get on
and off!
Is there anything we can do or do we give up now?
