We need contributors. I mean, I need you to write up articles on
local
or Southern Races, (Edwards is acceptable), and send them to me so I
can post them on our blog, http://southerndemsunion.blogspot.com . We
need to get a steady flow of informative articles on their to get new
members, and boost membership. While your there, feel free to click
on
all the adds, in fact, please do. I'm wanting to use the ad revenue
to
pay for a website hosting deal, or buying a server. By the way, to
those of you who have serious computer skills, I still need advice
and
help building a website. CONTACT ME!
Our newest project, as it is seen on DFA, (if you haven't visited in
a
while, please do), is to one build a website, but far more important,
I have a project for you all; get ten friends, family, or
acquaintances
who have internet access and email, to join Southern Dems Union,
which
is what I want to call it, unless you have any objections. I like the
ring. And, this basically is a union, look at what we're trying to
do,
look at our services. We have 8 members, I'm sure all of you have ten
friends and family members who internet access, email, and are
Democrats living in the South. All of you probably have twenty,
thirty
or forty including acquaintances. Just get ten to join. That'll help
us immensely, it'll bring us up to 80 members. That's the single most
important thing we can do right now because this group is pretty much
worthless without enough members to make a significant impact, or
even
be able to run my party campaigning and reorganization ideas
throughout my Geographic South, (the 11 states of the confederacy,
plus KY, WV, and OK).
On top of that, please make sure you're getting at least one email a
day from us, don't block the emails. That was the whole purpose of
getting a google group started, because I couldn't contact you on DFA,
this is much more convenient. I can only say it one way, and that is;
this is real world/online group, and this group cannot ever do
anything but fail miserably, if I am completely unable to contact you
updates, information, and if we don't all work together in a three d
fashion.To be blunt, and sorry to be rude as well, but I'm very
frustrated with a pace so slow I have accomplished nothing in six
months and countless hours of my time trying apparrently talking to a
brick wall. If you cannot, in all your time, handle getting one email
a day from this group, probably none most days, with the group being
as small as it is now, then leave!
I can't fathom how you all thought this group could work without an
organized membership and leaderhsip. I can't fathom why all but about
4 of my 30 members on DFA don't subscribe to our newletter, or even
provide email addresses. I'm mad, because I realize now that the past
effort, including an attept at making a website, have been a complete
waste becuase none of you knew anything, because you didn't subscribe
to the newsletter, or anytthing releveant to the group, and did
nothing to help me.
