more trees, more good

The Woodland Trust have come with an interesting tree-enhancing image and e-mail campaign you might want to try out... It's called "moretreesmoregood/myview"
 
The WT website says "Thousands of people are sick of looking at bare streets, treeless views and dull urban spaces- but see how they could be transformed by using a new online facility called myView- in 3 easy steps this unique webdevice produces graphic images sending a clear message to local government and Councillors that the UK needs more trees"
 
it's a bit like electronic fuzzy felt and works like this in 3 steps
 
1. take a photo of a treeless area, space or a current view that could be enhanced by more trees - in the attached example the "new Victoria Gateway"
2. using the MyView gizmo (free) drag and drop native trees into your photo and re-size and position where you want them to appear
3.Type in the venue postcode- and click a button and the enhanced photo is sent, along with your message as to the benefits /reasons for wanting more treesto the appropriate local councillors (this example would automatically go to all 3 Victoria Ward councillors)
