May 25th: Who Will Ellen Corkrum New Tape Focus on in Minnesota?
May 25th is Africa Liberation Day. In Minnesota, it will be observed by Liberians and their African compatriots. The Topic of Focus is Corruption in Liberia. The speakers are Ms. Ellen Corkrum (a former boss at RIA) and Judge Melvin Johnson. The story is known to many Liberians at home and the diaspora.
While Ellen Corkrum (a grand daughter of the late Cyrus S. Cooper) will focus on corruption, her tribesmen, Grand Gedeans will also focus not only on corruption but the release of detainees from Grand Gedeh, accused "falsely" by President Sirleaf in manifestation of her senseless continuity of "hatred against
the people of Grand Gedeh. "
The insecurity of Pres. Sirleaf which leads her to lie on poor Grand Gedeans, places a dark cloud over her so-called reconciliation and waste of tax payers money. A vindictive President like Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf will never dawn an iota of reconciliation in motherland.
African Liberation Day, is a day we all, both at home and in the diaspora must celebrate with the plight of poor Liberians on our minds. The call for a mitigation of corruption is now urgent than ever.
To those who died in motherland due to the lack of basic needs for survival and the fight against corruption, we salute you in your graves, as the struggle continues.
We call on President Sirleaf to release Grand Gedeh detainees Now and Ellen Sirleaf Must Go !
The struggle for human rights and
against corruption continues.
