Hi All,

I have a potential sustainability project that some of you may be
interested in.

A portion of the Clean Energy Works pilot will use a neighborhood
outreach-based model to get people enrolled in the program. I have
been talking with a contractor that plans to respond to the request
for proposals from the city to use this model. They are looking for a
neighborhood association or sustainability committee in southeast that
would like to partner with them. The outreach would likely include
holding workshops, promoting the program in your communications and
canvassing. The result would be 100 homes in your neighborhood
receiving energy efficiency upgrades, and possibly financial
incentives for the neighborhood association doing the outreach.

I'm trying to help them locate a group that is interested in working
with them on this project. They will choose the neighborhood they
want to work with in a couple of weeks based on a few criteria. One
of them being the level of interest from the neighborhood association.

Assuming they win the bid, I would work with you all through the whole
process. Let me know if this seems like something you would be
interested in and I can give more details.

The Clean Energy Works website is http://www.cleanenergyworksportland.org/.

Hello all -
I would be interested in applying for our neighborhood - but need to run it by our Board first.
Hope all are well.
Take care.
