Just to let you know City Council approved a resolution this past
Weds. to waive System Dev. Charges (SDC's) on all new ADUs effective
April 15, 2010 - July 1, 2013 (three years). This results in a
savings of about $7 - $12K in permit fees, which have proven cost
prohibitive for these small structures in the past.

Also, the allowable size has been enlarged to the lesser of 800 sq.
ft. or 75% of primary dwelling size (formerly 33% of primary
dwelling).
