Ken Lesto worked in the Comptroller Department in Finance and, if I remember correctly, her son Jimmy worked in Design at one time and I can't remember where else!

Obituary

Emma Wates Lesto WADMALAW ISLAND, SC - Emma Wates Lesto, 84, of Wadmalaw Island, SC, wife of Kenneth Lesto, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 15, 2014.

 

Her funeral service will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Highway. Interment in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

 

Emma was born March 4, 1930 in Olanta, SC, daughter of the late James Wates and Jennie Salters Wates. She was a homemaker and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lesto of Wadmalaw Island, SC; two daughters, Jane Lesto Die of Chesapeake, VA, and Nancy Lesto Jenkins of Charleston, SC; a son, James Edward Lesto of Charleston, SC; a sister, Wylma Wates of Summerville, SC; and four grandchildren.
