Today's, June 5, Post & Courier had the obituary of W H (Bill) Swintz. He died on June 3, his funeral will be June 6 at Sturh's West Ashley at 11:00 AM. Internment in Live Oak Memorial Gardens on SC Hwy 61.

William Harmon Swintz, Jr. CHARLESTON –
William Harmon Swintz, Jr., 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Virginia Holly Swintz, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 3, 2013.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
William was born May 13, 1922 in Marion County, South Carolina, son of William Harmon Swintz, Sr. and Edith Rebecca Thompson Swintz.
He was a US Navy veteran. He was a retired Civil Service Engineer with Southern Division of Naval Facilities. William was an active member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and was a Boy Scout Leader and Little League Baseball Coach .
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Swintz of Charleston; daughter, Pamela S. (Edward) Freeman of Taylors, SC; son, William H. (Monica) Swintz, III of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, William H. Swintz, IV of Florence, SC, David Freeman and Laura Freeman both of Taylors, SC; two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack (Ruth) Holly of Charleston and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patti (Ronnie) Herrin of Charleston. Mr. Swintz was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Eric B. (Dollie) Swintz and a sister and brother-in-law, Rita (Roy) Inabinett.
