Subject: Ben Nettles
Ben passed away in Alabama on 14 August 2012 at age 84. In recent years, Ben had lived with his son Alan near Huntsville, Alabama. Due to declining health, he had gone to a veteran's home in Alabama. Stuhr's funeral home is arranging his burial. There will be a short obituary in the Friday's Post & Courier.
His oldest son Olin called and told me Ben will be buried in Bethany Cemetery, near Cunnington Ave, Charleston, SC on Saturday, 18 August 2012 at 11 am. It will be a very brief event, as Ben had wished.
